Hunt Gauge

A floristically rich biome that extends along the southern and western part of South Africa. This biomes consists mostly of shrublands and includes mountain and coastal Fynbos, renosterveld and strandveld. This biome doesn’t naturally support many plains game species but there are a few game animals that are specialists at living in this biome, such as Black Wildebeest, Cape Eland, and Bontebok.
