Tracking wounded game at night is never a good idea, especially if the wounded animal is one of the Dangerous 7. It’s usually always best to retire back to the camp for the night and pick up the tracks again in the morning. It makes for a very restless sleep for the Hunter and PH, but it’s always best to be cautious and to use the light of day to one’s advantage.
