Riverine habitat, sometimes called riparian, is the habitat associated with river systems, including in the river, or river bed when dry, and the river banks. Due to the availability of fo water, the Riverine vegetationin tends to be thicker and sometimes contain a high prevalence of trees, compared to habitat beyond the river systems.
