Stand blinds (aka Stands) are used on #Ambush style hunts to conceal the Hunter above or off the ground and out of the animal’s usual field of view. Stands are usually permanent structures with stairs or ladders leading up to the blind, and usually adjacent to some bushes or trees for extra cover. Stands offer the additonal advantage of minimising Hunter’s scent in the ambush area as smells usually dissipate before reaching ground level. Blinds are designed to have narrow opening or window to allow for shooting while at the same time concealing the Hunter.
