#OpenSights refers to the use of Hunting Weapons (rifles, handguns, bow, etc.) without attached optics (scopes, reflex, etc). For rifles, this is often referred to as Iron Sights, where the simple alignment markers supplied with the rifle are used (often made of metal). Shooting bows without the use of sights is called Instinctive Shooting, and is included in this tag #OpenSights.
